Newsletter To My Listeners And Friends

HI!

I’m writing this to say ”hello” and share with you an update on where I’ve landed after such a long silence from the public world. Quite simply, I have returned to the homeland of my DNA, Greece. It’s here where I live with my wife Tzeni and here where I feel so deeply connected.

Over the past few years, I have created quite a few new musical pieces that I release from time to time. In addition, I am just now finishing my third documentary film score in the past couple of years for director and friend, Chip Duncan. This will be our 45th production together. This music will also be released in its time.

Greece feeds me creatively like no other place I’ve been. The new music is flowing through every time I enter my studio. I am so grateful at this age to feel like I am still enthusiastically exploring new territories and techniques. And at the same time, I appreciate so much those of you who take an interest in my music and trust me with your time and attention to take you to beautiful and evocative places.

Looking back, I just released a soft and delicate solo piano album, ACROSS ANY DISTANCE which is now available on Bandcamp for download and all streaming services.

In addition, my friend and collaborator, Paul Voudouris, and I just released LEGACY LIVE 1978-1980,  a compilation of our signature artsy singer/songwriter material from that era. Next will be more of my recent singles and a live record from around 2010 with three truly gifted musicians performing with me vocals and instrumentals.

After a lifetime experiencing and witnessing so much joy and wonder and well as heartbreak and bewilderment at times, I find the human world becoming more and more fragmented and incomprehensible in the choices we are making as a species. That is why, more than ever, I gather the pure spirit of creation from the ethers and in my own way, transform it and offer to to you.

It is a place, a vibrational landscape so to speak, that no one and nothing can touch. It is a part of what we all offer each other, a pure essence, something innocent and inviolable. May this Love be foremost in your heart always.
